After 34 years, Elim Place Memory Care is still here because families keep trusting us with what matters most to them. When our founders started our communities in 1991, they had one simple goal: create the kind of place they wanted for their own parents—somewhere that felt like home, not an institution.
Three decades of caring for California families has taught us that exceptional senior care isn’t about having the fanciest building or the longest list of amenities. It’s about having the right people who genuinely care, the experience to handle whatever comes up, and the flexibility to adapt when families need help most.

We’re not the biggest senior care company in California, and that’s intentional. We’re big enough to provide professional medical support and financial stability, but small enough that our administrators know every resident’s name and their family’s story. When Mrs. Peterson had a fall at 2 AM, our night supervisor knew to call her daughter immediately because she knew how close they were. When Mr. Garcia was struggling with the transition, our activities director remembered his love of woodworking and helped him start a project that gave him purpose again.
This balance lets us move quickly when families face urgent situations while never losing the personal touch that makes our communities feel like home. My philosophy is to bring a fresh perspective to the senior living industry and to serve with purpose considering every dimension of wellness.
